Wall removal and tie-in
Bearsden
A low wall ran along the front of the drive. We took it down and tied the existing driveway in with the street, using charcoal monoblock along the edge so it looks designed rather than like a repair.
Our Bearsden job below started as a repair: a front wall came out, and the drive had to meet the street without looking patched. We take on new monoblock driveways, patios and fencing in Bearsden too.

Bearsden is covered by East Dunbartonshire Council, which has to give permission before the kerb outside your house can be lowered. You apply with a form and a sketch showing where the kerb will drop, and there's a processing fee. The council's dropped kerb page has the details.
Parts of Bearsden are conservation areas, including Old Bearsden and Westerton. If your house is in one, a new drive can need planning permission, so we check your street before we quote. Elsewhere, a drive between your house and the road doesn't need permission as long as it's permeable or drains onto your own ground. Our planning permission guide has the detail.
Driveways are our specialism: our calculator puts a 50m² standard monoblock drive at about £7,200. We can quote a patio, fencing or a new lawn in the same visit.
