Why our paths

Same standard as a driveway, smaller scale.

A path that lasts is the same job as a patio that lasts: proper sub-base, real edging, real drainage. We don't slap slabs on sand and hope.

Compacted sub-base

Excavated and compacted MOT Type 1 in proper layers — the bit that stops paths sinking and shifting.

Drainage built in

Falls, channels and soakaways where they're needed. No standing water, no green slime.

Edge restraints

Concrete-haunched edges keep gravel where it belongs and stop slabs creeping at the perimeter.

Materials to match

Slab, block, gravel or natural stone. We'll bring samples and pick something that fits the rest of the garden.

Side returns & bin paths

Awkward access routes, narrow side passages, bin tracks. Exactly the kind of detail jobs we do well.

5-year written guarantee

Workmanship guarantee on every install. In writing, in your portal, yours to keep.

Our 7-step install

From dig to handover.

Most paths done in 1–3 days. Here's exactly what happens.

    Step 2

    Excavation

Old surface lifted, ground excavated to the right depth for the chosen material.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Sub-base

MOT Type 1 laid and compacted in layers for a true, stable base.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Edge restraints

Edging blocks or concrete haunching installed to lock the perimeter.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Bedding & laying

Slabs on a mortar bed, blocks on sand, gravel raked into a membrane-backed bay.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Pointing & finishing

Mortar pointing, jointing compound or gravel topping, matched to the chosen material.

  7. 7

    Step 7 · Handover

    Cleanup & guarantee

Site swept, surface protected, walk-around with you and your guarantee in writing.
